Helping Saving Children's Lives - Residential Group Homes - Shelters
The Idaho Youth Ranch's Residential Services Division provides a respite to young people who are at risk in their community or at home. The Ranch has shelters located in Idaho Falls and Boise to help abused or neglected children. The Ranch also has a series of group homes in Idaho Falls, Boise, Nampa, Coeur d' Alene and Rupert. These homes help children by providing guidance, treatments, positive reinforcement, and provide a stable home life. The original Idaho Youth Ranch is also still working, a 550 acre area of land dedicated to the care of children.

Idaho Youth Ranch - Helping Children and Families
The Idaho Youth Ranch began in 1952 when Reverend James Crowe, a Methodist minister, created a nonprofit organization to help the troubled youth of Idaho develop into well rounded citizens. James Crowe's vision has grown since the humble beginnings of a small area of land near Rupert, Idaho. And 50 years later, the Idaho Youth Ranch continues to help children and their families turn troubles into triumphs.
