A new Christmas tradition in Meridian is beginning, and you're invited. In addition to the popular and established Children's Winterland Festival, Meridian will be adding two new events; the Winter Lights Parade and Downtown Business Decorating Contest. Come down and enjoy all the fun happening. December 2nd-7th, 2013.

Children's Winterland Festival - 10am - 3pm, December 7th
The Children's Winterland Festival is a fun-filled day with a variety of Christmas themed games and activities including taking pictures with Santa Claus, Christmas card making, and enjoying free hot chocolate and coffee. Participation is free with a food donation to the Meridian Food Bank. Get into the spirit of Christmas and help those that are less fortunate.

Winter Lights Parade - Main St. Dec. 6th, 6:30pm - 8:00pm
The 1st Annual Winter Lights Parade will light up downtown Meridian with Christmas spirit.The parade will begin on the corner of Main and Franklin, heading northbound to end just before Fairview Avenue. After the parade head to Generations Plaza on the corner of Main and Idaho to witness the lighting of Meridian's Christmas Tree.

Downtown Business Decorating Contest - Dec. 2nd - 5th
Downtown businesses will be competing for best decorated business between December 2nd and 5th. Take a walk in downtown Meridian and see the marvelous displays.
